Col de L'Iseran

You could always go back infinitely far, to the point where a story really seemed to begin. Sometimes it's just your memory that clings as soon as it gets going. I decided to start somewhere in the middle, right where you could see it clearly from here, even though it wasn't like that at the time it happened.

I got into motorbikes in a rather natural and undramatic way. I don't remember a sort of Eureka moment when I realised, "This is it, this is what I want." The interest grew slowly during my teenage years, more as a visually appealing thing that I mainly saw in pictures as I didn't have access to one or own one myself until a few years later.
